This is a reminder that we will have our weekly Alternative Banking meeting tomorrow, Sunday September 16th, from 3-5pm in Columbia University’s IAS Building Room 409. Information about our weekly meeting is available here.

Topics will include:

• Our 52 Shades of Greed card decks have arrived! Let’s celebrate some of the press we’ve received and figure out what to do with all the decks.
• Other things going on for Occupy’s one year anniversary Monday September 17th.
• The underlying goal of QE3: how does buying mortgage-backed securities help the 99%, if at all? How does it help anyone? Is it yet another stealth bailout for the banks? If not, then why do it at all?
